HARDWARE

In keeping with the commitment to quality all the way down to the finest
detail our swimwear is finished with antique nickel hardware custom made
for Onia and embossed with our brand name. This hardware, built for extended
use and water submersion, includes metal snap, buttons, eyelets, and nylon
drawstrings sourced in Japan capped with metal tips to prevent fraying.

CONSTRUCTION

We pay particular attention to the construction of our garments;
no detail is small enough to take for granted. For instance the
needlework for our swimwear is done in the same method as luxury dress
pants: every inner and outer seam is sewn with a clean finish. While
requiring a greater amount of labor, the extra effort is worth all the
energy invested as this finish reinforces the seam making the garment
much more durable, and is both more clean to look at from the outside
and more comfortable to wear from the inside.

MESH

An often overlooked, yet critically important part of swimwear is the inner mesh.
Ours is constructed of superfine nylon and a minute amount of spandex (to give it
the slightest amount of stretch) a combination that provides support without
discomfort. It has been rigorously tested to provide the airiest, smoothest,
fastest drying and, above all, softest texture possible.
