We recently connected with the multi-talented Lea Rose—Miami-based entrepreneur, photographer, model, and mother. In our exclusive Q&A, she shares how she balances her diverse roles and what inspires her daily. Q: You're a model, entrepreneur, photographer, wife and mom! How do you juggle the day to day and what's your most-loved role?
A: It's a lot, but I love it, now that I’m in the swing of things, everything has become so much easier—even without ever having a nanny or family nearby. My husband and I have established a great routine, and he’s truly my biggest supporter. Since he works from home, he fully believes in giving me the space to shine and genuinely loves being a dad. He’s created such a calm, supportive environment that helps me stay organized, catch every flight, and manage it all. He’s truly one of a kind. As they say, the right partner is someone who makes your life easier—and he absolutely does that.
Q: Where is home for you and your family?
A: My family is German and we are scattered all over the world—Dubai, Munich, Berlin, and NYC. For my husband, son and I, home is Miami, for now..
Q: I know traveling is a big part of your life—what's the most beautiful place you've visited and most precious memory from that trip?
A: Yes, it is! I've traveled to 61 and lived in 9, been an expat all my life! No better gift in life.
I think my most precious memory from traveling was when I was walking through the streets of Mallorca, Spain and my son took his first baby step!!
Q: What sets you up for a successful and productive day? How do you wind down at night?
A: A quiet breakfast by myself, haha! It sounds so simple, but I’m such a breakfast person. I love taking that time alone to eat, recharge, and mentally prepare to tackle the day.
At night, my husband and I have our little ritual — about ten minutes of scrolling through funny videos on social media. We call it our mini “doomscroll,” but it’s always full of laughter and a perfect way to unwind together.
Q: Who is your most inspiring social follow at the moment?
A: SO many. My feed is full of art, fashion and architecture. At the moment I love following Nicolo Leone for all things travel @nicoleo__ & Tanya Ravichandran for all things vintage archival fashion @tanyar.
Q: When you're behind the camera, who or what is your favorite subject to shoot?
A: I love shooting natural moments with beautiful faces and also very strongly posed fashion shoots with fashion models.
Q: When you're modeling, what keeps you grounded in the moment?
A: The paycheck — haha! I’m kidding…kind of. Honestly, what really helps is embodying the character I’m portraying and fully stepping into that role. I also like to visualize the photos as they’re being taken — it helps me imagine how my movements and expressions are translating on camera. That mindset keeps me present and connected to what I’m doing.
Q: You recently chose a few Onia pieces for you and your husband for a trip to Puerto Rico—what inspired you to choose those specific styles?
A: We chose looks that matched first and foremost! And definitely took our shoot locations into consideration—blues, neutrals and tropical prints.
Q: What are you hoping to manifest for the new year?
A: Health, always, and to continue to grow as a friend, mom, wife and creative! Cheers to health, wealth & growth!!
